There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. Breakfast was super and the view stunning. Even as an Namibian we loved the food and the view. Staff super friendly, helpful and very neat. Rooms were clean and had stunning view of Spitzkoppe. Could not get down the bridge because of hight and had a kind guard who assisted. Management could not be better. Kind, welcoming, friendly and went out of their way to make every moment remember-bale. A super stay.

Each room at Omurenga has a private terrace and spectacular views. They are each air-conditioned, have an en suite bathroom and are equipped with a safe. The property is beautiful and the food was excellent. We did have to leave a day early to cross the river before it rained again. The manager was very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely fantastic place: peace and quiet, walking trails, wildlife viewing, amazing landscape, beautiful view of Hohenstein, spotless and comfortable room, good food, cold beer, wifi at the restaurant, friendly welcome. I wish we could have stayed at least another night.

Towels and bed linen are available in the chalet. The property has an outdoor dining area. Perfect location. Few steps from the ocean. Big Spar and other shops in a walking distance (3 min). The apartment is spacious and very comfortable. We found absolutely everything. The big advantage is a washing machine and a dryer. Private parking. Safe and quiet. Inner backyard seating area is lovely. Good quality for a price paid. Would stay again.

With mountain views, Ai Aiba - The Rock Painting Lodge is set in Omaruru and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. the staff here are amazing and went above and beyond to keep us happy! Erika was an amazing guide on our sundowner walk and took us up the shortcut separately as we arrived later but didn’t want to miss out. the lodge is really beautiful and we didn’t want to leave. the room was great with a lovely view. would definitely come back!

Stiltz Guest House offers bungalow accommodation built on wooden stilts situated in Swakopmund at the mouth of the Swakop River. The units offer views either of the Atlantic Ocean, the riverbed, sand dunes or of the lagoon. Staff were very friendly, nice view over the ocean. We visited Stiltz Guest House in winter and we were provided with heater and electric blankets.

Desert Breeze Lodge, situated on the banks of the Swakop River is 2.5 km from the town of Swakopmund. Some units feature a private sun deck with views of the surrounding sand dunes.

Amazing place just at the end of town. The views from the room were amazing. Comfy beds. Really big rooms. Safe parking. Nice breakfast

Along the way, we also had time to visit Spitzkoppe. Even before our arrival, I could tell we were in for a special experience: the owner was in touch with us regularly, asking in advance about the group’s meal preferences and helping coordinate our arrival. The property is a truly beautiful oasis, almost like a botanical garden. It features not only a pool and charming bungalows, but also a unique lounge with a balcony overlooking a waterhole, where you can watch wildlife up close. The lodge also has its own beautifully decorated restaurant with delicious food.
