We were surprised. Huge hut, with small pool. No restaurant yet but you are advised to bring stuff for barbecue. Cool beer at the bar available. Beautiful view, silence and nothing disturbing.

Omurenga offers luxurious accommodation with panoramic views of the Erongo Mountains, 35 km from Omaruru. The lodge offers a year-round infinity pool and relaxing lounge areas. It is a must to visit Omurenga while in Namibia. Place is stunning and luxury, fancy but very comfortable and welcoming, unique. Views from every corner are incredible. Food is homemade and delicious, cooked by professional chef. Place has only 4 chalets, which are tastefully decorated, very big in size and extremely comfortable. Marli made our stay unforgettable by providing an impeccable service and hospitality.

Offering free WiFi and a garden, Hohenstein Lodge is situated at the bottom of the highest peak of the Erongo Mountains. The property is 28 km from Usakos. Free private parking is available on site. This was by far the best stay of our entire trip in Namibia. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, the view was breathtaking, and the pool overlooking the scenery was just perfect. The interior is beautifully designed, everything is brand new and the room was spacious with a large, very comfortable bed. What made it even more special is that it’s a boutique accommodation with only a limited number of rooms. No big, crowded lodge atmosphere, just peace, style and personal attention. We absolutely loved it and were sad we only stayed here for 1 night. If we ever come back to Namibia, we’ll book this stay again!

Stiltz Guest House offers bungalow accommodation built on wooden stilts situated in Swakopmund at the mouth of the Swakop River. Beautiful, comfortable and nice staff. 40 minutes driving from Walvis bay through a really nice road

Desert Breeze Lodge, situated on the banks of the Swakop River is 2.5 km from the town of Swakopmund. Some units feature a private sun deck with views of the surrounding sand dunes. The place is magical right in front of the desert and the staff was very kind to us!

Comfortable Accommodations: TimBila Camp Namibia in Omaruru offers family rooms with private bathrooms, kitchenettes, and river views. Perfect experience to end our Namibia family trip: glamping in the middle of nature, with tents that have all comfort, and great services in the reception, pool, bar area. Exciting to be sleeping and hearing the wildlife, but we felt all the time safe thanks to Frieda and her professional team. Our teens loved the adventure to track lions in the bushes. And to top it off, a brilliant, classy bar-service - could fit Mayfair London… but with a much better sundowner view :)

We booked for one night and extended for two. We also had the privilege to be alone on the this lovely island in the middle of nowhere. All people have been extremely friendly and welcoming. The whole stay was outstanding and there is nothing to complain.

Roidina Safari Lodge is located in Omaruru. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge. The accommodation will provide you with a patio. There is also an electric kettle. We chose this lodge because of its convenient location on the route from the Atlantic coast to Etosha. Along the way, we also had time to visit Spitzkoppe. Even before our arrival, I could tell we were in for a special experience: the owner was in touch with us regularly, asking in advance about the group’s meal preferences and helping coordinate our arrival. The property is a truly beautiful oasis, almost like a botanical garden. It features not only a pool and charming bungalows, but also a unique lounge with a balcony overlooking a waterhole, where you can watch wildlife up close. The lodge also has its own beautifully decorated restaurant with delicious food.
