Fantastic desert location with amazing views, friendly and efficient staff/facilities, clean and comfortable cottages, and great food and bar. Also good for star gazing at night.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Bike tour with Filipp was super fun

Rooms at Alte Kalkoefen come with a fan and floor-to-ceiling windows, with an extra outside shower. Each has a private bathroom with a free-standing tub. Light linens and wooden furniture are part of the décor. It was a magnificent stay, wonderful personnel and hosts. The chalets were beautifully decorated, very clean and spacious. The food is delightful and when the location is as beautiful as this one, you will want to come back!

Guests at Mount Canyon Guest Farm can enjoy hiking nearby, or make the most of the outdoor pool. Amazing service, attention to detail, food, decoration, rooms, simply and amazing stay and experience. They even went above and beyond to provide us with a meat we really wanted to try in the breakfast. Highly recommended place 😊

A continental breakfast is available at the lodge. Faboulous place! The people, our Guide, the view and the silence. Well worth the long drive from Windhoek. Would love to come back!

Kalahari Game Lodge is located on the C15, just 20km from the Mata Mata Border post between Namibia and South Africa. The lodge offers an outdoor pool and on site restaurant.

The chalets are secluded and each is facing the riverbed. They have an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. The room comes with a ceiling fan, a wardrobe and tea-and-coffee making facilities. Great lodge and the perfect for our purpose of entering Mata Mata early the next morning . We enjoyed the views over the dry river beds, lots of birds and many ground squirrels

Decorated with wooden furniture, the rustic rooms are equipped with a fan, and a wardrobe. Featuring a bath or shower, private bathrooms also come with free toiletries and towels. Very interesting historical place (old railway station converted to hotel). Nice location- not too far from quiver tree forest. Good for sleepover before continuing to Luderitz or Fish river canyon. There is a fireplace in the dining area, so it was nice and warm. Very nice dinner and breakfest.
