My son waited his entire trip for a stay at this resort. Dinner was delicious and breakfast was really good. The staff is super attentive. The pool is heated and it was good even in July. And well, the four giraffes wandering the area along with the oryx and springboks- what’s not to love. They have electric sheets to keep warm during the night.

The staff are so lovely and helpful, and the evening food was good. They also have a delicious pale ale that they brew onsite, which is a nice touch.

With garden views, Okapuka Safari Lodge is set near Windhoek and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and sun terrace. Perfect location so close to Windhoek and yet you feel as though you are in the wilderness. Fabulous large and comfortable room with lovely environment. Friendly Ostrich really had us smiling.

We loved the whole vibe of the farm, and our house looked much better than on the pictures. It has a kitchen, 2 rooms and a living room with a firepit. It is so quite at night and namibian night sky is beautiful. Stars are so visible as there is no light pollution anywhere near. Big thanks to Clemens, Sofia and Charlene and the cook who were all so warm and welcoming. Pro tip: buy the herbal salt, it is delicious and we have been putting it in all our lunches since we left :)
