Surrounded by granite outcrops and with stunning views and roaming wildlife, Desert Quiver Camp offers modern self-catering accommodation, located just 5 km away from the entrance gate to Sossusvlei. Everything was great. We were late to check in, but stuff of the hotel left us instructions how to get to our cabin. The cabin itself is very spacious with high ceilings. Food in nearby hotel was fresh and tasty and you can see some oryx and birds while eating outside. Stargazing was an additional free experience. Location is very close to Sossusvlei.

Located on the C19, We Kebi Safari Lodge offers accommodation 88 km west of Maltahohe in the Hardap Region. This property offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Everything about the place was great. Rhino watching while at the pool. Afternoon sundowner with animals at water hole. Staff was very attentive. Bungalows really romantic and region representative.

Located on a desert reserve between Sesriem and Solitaire, Soft Adventure Camp offers chalet accommodation for nature enthusiasts, just 30 minutes drive away from Namib-Naukluft National Park. Was given a free upgrade. Great surroundings. Spacious rooms with great view though you might be disturbed by the gophers when you step out to the porch. Lovely products and dinner. When putting the name into GPS remember to put in Namib Naukloft Lodge. "Soft adventure camp" will lead you way way offroad.

Bordering the Namib-Naukluft National Park, this country lodge in Solitaire offers spacious rooms that face the central courtyard with its swimming pool. Solitaire roadhouse is hardly-miss-place for roadtrippers visiting Sesriem. It is definitely the best value for the money: Perfect position for Sesriem / Walvis Bay / Windhoek cruising. The lodge is very stylish: chain of big rooms surrounding a desert garden decorated with sukulent (cactus) flowers. In the middle of garden there is refreshing pool. Place has restaurant with good food (breakfast, dinner) and the best bakery of 1000 kms around (definitely try famous apple pie). Wifi, hot water, nice staff, etc. all this makes Solitaire worth of visit. Walvis Bay: 3,5 hours, Sesriem: 2 hours (very bad road, but doable).

Situated on the banks of the Tsauchab River, Hoodia Desert Lodge offers accommodation close to the Sesriem Gate. The lodge offers an outdoor pool. Everything was just perfect. Food was fabulous. The sundowner was so special and beautiful. We loved our guide Enos. He was a great guy and very knowledgeable.
