This finca is a working farm and orchard. The animals provide a grounding effect and the orchard is varied and lovingly kept up. As is the entire property. The hosts are wonderful and caring and provided excellent service in helping us decide on tours and guides. Overall, it was extra special in every way! From now on, it will be where I stay when visiting Ometepe!

A/C & fan worked well. Room size & bed were good. Nice outdoor seating/ lounging areas. The use of the kitchen & included coffee were much appreciated. Situated close to the beach & restaurants. Friendly owner & staff.

Parque Nacional Santa Rosa is 49 km from the accommodation, while Junquillal Bay Wildlife Refuge is 46 km away. This place is set in an outstanding and beautiful unspoiled and very quiet jungle setting. In nighttime there is no sound from civilization but only monkeys, the lake and the jungle can be heard. The night sky for stargazing is spectacular. All of this is topped with freshly cooked food from the nicest hosts imaginable. Coming from Costa Rica we originally planned to stay only one night but extended our stay because everything was fantastic.

The bungalow is equipped with a fan, a private terrace that overlooks the mountainside and a private bathroom with shower. The bungalows have a rustic decoration with modern-style details, wooden furniture, floors and beamed ceilings, plus thatched roofs. Simply a treasure of a find. Really takes eco sustainability to heart. It’s simple luxury with excellent service. Nothing was too much trouble and it felt like I had the whole place to myself much of the time. Food is delicious and while menu not exhaustive they changed dinner daily. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Maderas Volcano is 6.2 km from Dragon's Garden. The location and price of Dragon's Garden is what I appreciated most. The cabins are eco friendly, there are dry toilets on the property, the showers are beautiful. All in all I think the price for what is provided is excellent. This and the staff is extremely friendly.

Beautiful place with great views. The rancho area had plenty of space for eating, working, and family gatherings. Food can be ordered and purchased from the owner. Everything we ordered was fantastic! The owners were very accommodating of our two large dogs. His daughter gave the dogs a stuffed animal toy :)

You are right in the middle of it all - the sounds, smells and views are all amazing and so relaxing. Breakfast was unreal and staff was lovely. This was a beautiful experience for us!
