We were given a very warm welcome and were well looked after by Maykel and his family . He arranged a volcano guide and we ordered packed lunches which were perfect at the top of a long hike . It was really useful that we could rent Maykal’s scooter as we had taken a taxi from the port. With large backpacks renting motos at the port would not have been fesible for us. Having independent ( not taxi) transport is, I think important to have a relaxed tour of this beautiful island . The roads are quiet and generally very low speed so biking is easy and the main way people get around. We had a wonderful , large room and big bathroom with a shower. There was a terrace where we sat peacefully in the evenings watching and listening to monkeys and enjoying the sunset. The food is all cooked to ordered. We had excellent breakfasts and we ate in 2 out of 4 evenings. They ask that you order your meal in advance so it can be freshly prepared. We were really happy with the location. Close to a lake beach, but close using the moto to the best sandy beaches- Playa Mango and San Domingo. The WiFi was excellent . We were so pleased we chose The Jungle and highly recommend it.

With lake views, Finca Mystica is situated in Ometepe and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. The place is just wonderful. Friendly and helpful staff, nice surroundings, a wide variety of activities, clean, and really peaceful. We stayed longer than planned and would have loved to stay even longer.

With garden views, Eco lodge finca magdalena is set in Altagracia and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden and terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. The views, sounds of the jungle and the coffee were all amazing! And as an added bonus, you could wash your own laundry by hand.

Maderas Beach is 1.8 km from the lodge, while Christ of the Mercy Nicaragua is 8.8 km from the property. Augusto Cesar Sandino International Airport is 130 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Amazing place in the middle of the jungle. It has been a pleasure to meet Tim and his staff. We will come back for sure!

At the hotel, all rooms are fitted with a wardrobe and a balcony with pool view. All guest rooms at Monoloko Lodge Popoyo come with a private bathroom and bed linen. This place is definitely a 10 out of 10. The casitas are beautiful and even have a hot shower. The swimmingpool surrounded by palmtrees and hammocks are the perfect ingredients to relax. The owners and staff are amazing, breakfast is great and beach is close by. Absolutely nothing to complain.

There is a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries in each unit, along with a hairdryer. This finca is a working farm and orchard. The animals provide a grounding effect and the orchard is varied and lovingly kept up. As is the entire property. The hosts are wonderful and caring and provided excellent service in helping us decide on tours and guides. Overall, it was extra special in every way! From now on, it will be where I stay when visiting Ometepe!

The place is kept net and had everything I needed for a perfect stay. Very friendly and welcoming owner and staff. Perfect place to relax and indulge in the Pacific coast. Go and stay here 😊

Delicious breakfast, spotlessly clean room, with beautiful surroundings. Surrounded by nature and could see the howler monkeys. I could not recommend this place more

The bungalows have a rustic decoration with modern-style details, wooden furniture, floors and beamed ceilings, plus thatched roofs. An incredible place, hidden in nature, respectful of its surroundings and absolutely magnificent

There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. This was the highlight of our time on Ometepe and we wish it was not just one night! The view to the volcano over trees humming with butterflies is a sight I will never forget. Absolutely loved it.
