Located in Alta in the Finnmark region, Flatmoen Natur Lodge provides accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. The property is non-smoking and is situated 7.2 km from The Rock art of Alta. They have 4 lovely cabins next to each other with beautiful nature views. The very comfy bed is surrounded by glas windows and a glas roof and we were able to see the northern lights at night from the bed as we were staying here in December. The cabin itself had a kitchen with everything you need to cook, but the local pizza place will also deliver food, if you can't be bothered. We did book also a 3 hour horse carridge ride with dinner included which the lodge offers on their website. You can even book it online. We can highly recommend a stay here and also the sledge ride. Oh, and the jacuzzi on the terrace is super romantic!

The kitchen had everything you need to prepare a hot dinner. The bedding is pleasant. The shower is hot and good. Just a wonderful place!

The tiled floors, fireplace and peaceful vibe add to the ambience of the room. This chalet is allergy-free and non-smoking. Such a beautiful and cozy cottage in the middle of nowhere! It had a sauna and bbq room we could use and the view was beautiful! There were a lot of birds i reccomend watching them!

There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. Stayed one night in room with window seat. Good sized room very nicely appointed - encouraged to use slippers inside on arrival which adds to cosy nature of property. Service was excellent, as was breakfast and dinner. Complimentary tea/coffee available all day. Good spot for hiking and northern lights (if weather permits). Must be fantastic in winter.

Close to town. 17-minute walk from the ferry. Spacious. Very clean. The shower had great water pressure and nice hot water. A beautiful view of the lake from the bedrooms. Comfortable living room to hang out in. Fully equipped kitchen.

Holmen Husky is a small, family-run business who has been working with dogs since the 80s. Some of us have even grown up in the dogyard and on the sled. It is much more than an activity or an experience that has got us all addicted. it’s a feeling that must be experienced. Everything was over my expectations. The lodge is beautiful, exactly like in the pictures, the dogs are cute, the staff very friendly.

10 km from Alta City and 500 metres from Alta River lies Trasti & Trine Boutique Hotel. Surrounded by forest, the location offers good hiking, skiing and biking trails straight from the cottage door. There is both free WiFi and free on-site parking. Beautiful setting. Lived the separate little buildings and the small house we were in had amazing architectural/design elements
