Boasting a tennis court, a private boat jetty and a heated outdoor pool, Riverside Matakana is located on the banks of the Glen Eden River. Loved the view, the location and the facilities. The simple layout with two bathrooms and laundry was great! We’ll definitely be back again for a longer stay.

There was a deck to sit on and enjoy the sounds and sight of the surrounding countryside. Jacque was a very gracious host and left fresh eggs and other delights for our breakfast. Thank you Jacque for making our stay so delightful, we will be back.

Bridget had greeted us upon arrival and was super friendly, and along with their many many friendly dogs (they all loved the attention), having a pool towel each for the day was also an unexpected but great surprise! We didn't see Dave that much but he's a very nice person during the short times that we had seen him. The spa was amazing and a specific one of us adored the horses.

We enjoyed paddling around the bay on the SUP board, this is the BEST place to get away and truly relax. Local wineries are superb, so much to explore. Hosts are wonderful, can’t fault anything.
