Northwood Motor Lodge is a 4-star motel on the edge of Christchurch, only 8km from the airport. The motel offers modern, air-conditioned accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Located in the suberbs close (but not too close) to the airport. The owners are extremly nice, good harted and friendly.

Have stayed here many times over the years, our last visit was under new ownership and they certainly have spruced the place up a lot, only downside for us was that they have removed room service but the restaurant is still running, and still as good as it always has been

What a beautiful modern home with all the amenities you need. The place was close to everything and had an excellent living room and one could sit there for hours gazing at the stars in the night. We had a wonderful time and will definitely visit again.

Love the serene location just on the edge of Kaikoura. The chalet is huge, cozy and clean. Looks, feels and smells newly renovated and not to mention its a hidden gem in the town! There were Deers and Alpacas surrounding the chalet that the host provides delicious food to be fed if you would like.

We had the best 3 nights at Sunset chalet, perfect walking distance into the centre around 8 min walk. Very homely. Perfect for 2 people. Lovely little touches all throughout the chalet. We loved the outdoor area for a drink and eating our homemade meals. I would 100% stay here again if I was in this area. The air con was good if it got too hot, but it stayed nice and cool even without the aircon in the heat. Private parking on the driveway. Great value for money.

The hosts were very helpful, and I really appreciated the easy access to the outside at night directly from the room to enjoy stargazing.
