He gave us all kinds of great recommendations on what to see and do. Loved chatting with him. The suite was soo nice - cute, very private, really spotless. Makes good use of the outdoor space as well. Feels as though you are spending time in the forest. One of our nicest spots to stay - Highly recommend it!

I felt very comfortable in your accommodation; everything was new and perfectly prepared. The large glass front overlooking the pasture and the mountain range was the most beautiful feature. It’s 5 minutes to Waihi town and to Gold Discovery Center, less than 15 minutes to Karangahake Gorge, to Hauraki Heritage Train, to Waihi Beach, and Bowentown. Hobiton and the route to the Coromandel Peninsula are less than an hour's drive away. Next time I’d stay more days.

We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin — it was beautifully set up with everything we needed. The privacy was amazing, and the outdoor bath was such a treat, especially under the stars. Barry and Lesley were incredibly welcoming and took the time to show us around, which made us feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and unwind in a peaceful setting!
