Grove Park Motor Lodge is located in Blenheim, 24 minutes' drive from Picton Ferry Terminal and 3-minute's drive from Blenheim Station and ASB Convention Centre. Very clean room and the staff was phenomenal. I was having a little problem with the rental car and the manager walked over with me to the garage across the street to help get it fixed. The other manager moved my car to the parking spot by the room and carried my heavy bag into the room for me. The room was very nice and had everything we needed. These people went above and beyond to do anything to make our stay the best.

Outstanding friendly staff, they make you feel like home, and they make an incredible good pizza (we had the chicken plum - highly recommend) The place is really magical, you stay at the Fjord and can discover it kayaking, hiking or biking. If you're lucky you can see bioluminescent plankton glowing in the sea at night, beautiful stars and glow worms. You can watch the sunrise from the hot tup. It's a place to enjoy! You should stay there at least 2 days. The only thing we didn't like was that we didn't stay longer ;) If there would be an 11. Star, they would have earned it! ... And there is a chimney burning all day ... We had breakfast in front of it :)

The spot is tranquil and beautiful. The staff are welcoming and friendly. There's so much to do for adults and kids and the accommodation is very comfortable. The meals in the restaurant are delicious and very generous servings. We didn't want to leave.

Aldan Lodge offers self-contained accommodation just 4 minutes’ walk from the Picton waterfront and 8 minutes’ walk from Picton Railway Station. We enjoyed our stay very much. The owners were lovely and even informed us when our room was ready before check in time. The room had everything needed for a longer stay. Too bad we had to catch the morning ferry and had to leave at 6 am
