Right away We felt welcomed and well taken care of. The chalet is spacious, spotless clean, comfortable and well equipped. Best of all, it's surrounded by beautiful open space - farmlands and snow capped mountains. So peaceful. Thanks Helen for the home baked bread and jam, and for making our stay a memorable and enjoyable one. Definitely will come back again for longer stay.

Located in central Invercargill, Balmoral Lodge Motel is within walking distance of restaurants, shops and supermarkets. It offers satellite TV in each room and free off-street parking. Guests enjoy free WiFi. The space was decent and the staff very friendly. They were even willing to hold onto my luggage while I was away on a multi-day backpacking trip. It may have been more space than I needed as a solo traveler, but it was very useful as a remote worker.

This was the most incredible property in the peaceful countryside. Hannah was so kind and even showed us a tour of the farm. The sky was stunning at night as we sat in the hot tub. We’re were honoured to be the first guests here and I could not recommend this place enough. It’s well worth the drive along the gravel roads!
