Our stay at High Leys Lodge was absolutely wonderful. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable — everything felt high-end and thoughtfully put together. The lodge sits in a lovely courtyard, with the hosts and guests staying on different sides of the house, separated by an elegant and cozy shared lounge. The view from our room was simply breathtaking — the balcony looked straight out onto snow-capped mountains and the lake, and in the morning we could even see the golden sunlight shining on the peaks. It was magical! Breakfast was another highlight — beautifully prepared, delicious, and made with great care. We’re truly grateful for the hosts’ hospitality over the past two days. It was a happy and memorable stay — thank you so much! 🌄💛

The chalet is spacious, spotless clean, comfortable and well equipped. Best of all, it's surrounded by beautiful open space - farmlands and snow capped mountains. So peaceful. Thanks Helen for the home baked bread and jam, and for making our stay a memorable and enjoyable one. Definitely will come back again for longer stay.

Located in central Invercargill, Balmoral Lodge Motel is within walking distance of restaurants, shops and supermarkets. It offers satellite TV in each room and free off-street parking. The space was decent and the staff very friendly. They were even willing to hold onto my luggage while I was away on a multi-day backpacking trip. It may have been more space than I needed as a solo traveler, but it was very useful as a remote worker.

It is in an excellent location, close to parks, attractions, services, grocery stores, gas stations - basically everything you need is close by. The house is very nicely appointed and decorated, and everything is very comfortable. It has a lot of windows and is raised a bit, which makes the views great. We loved our time here.
