Issie at reception is LOVELY. Kind, welcoming, and helpful. I was exhausted when I arrived, so greatly appreciated her kindness!

Located in central Invercargill, Balmoral Lodge Motel is within walking distance of restaurants, shops and supermarkets. It offers satellite TV in each room and free off-street parking. Absolutely awesome room, massive. Great parking right outside (even if someone else took my spot) Reception lady was probably the best receptionist I've ever dealt with.

It is in an excellent location, close to parks, attractions, services, grocery stores, gas stations - basically everything you need is close by. The house is very nicely appointed and decorated, and everything is very comfortable. It has a lot of windows and is raised a bit, which makes the views great. We loved our time here.

Hannah was so kind and even showed us a tour of the farm. The sky was stunning at night as we sat in the hot tub. We’re were honoured to be the first guests here and I could not recommend this place enough. It’s well worth the drive along the gravel roads!

Amazing place to stay just where the Humpridge Track starts. Staff is amazing and super friendly. Nice coffee. We also got some pizzas and amazing showers after the trail. They allowed us to charge our EV for an extra fee, which was super convenient for us. We will definitely come back
