Creel Lodge is different from the usual motel in its layout. The grounds are really beautiful with lots of plants and lawns. In addition at the back of the property there is a gate leading down to the river path. Highly recommended!

The Lodge is in a great location and we had a room with a beautiful view over the lake. We also enjoyed time in the property's private hot pool. The staff / owners were all very friendly and welcoming and we'll definitely be staying there again.

Everything was spotless and well stocked, from the candles and champagne to the bathtub amenities, plush bedding and quality soaps. The heated towel racks were a lovely extra touch. The hosts were responsive and made sure everything was seamless. I can’t wait to come back.

The spacious apartment has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a balcony with sea views. Guests can take in the views of the mountain from the patio, which also has outdoor furniture. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. It was perfect, it was the best accommodation in last two weeks in NZ. everything is good.
