Just 5 minutes’ walk from Turangi town centre, Creel Lodge is a 4.5-star Qualmark rated motel offering self-contained suites with a private patio and BBQ facilities. Nice location and beautiful rooms. Only stayed for one night but enjoyed the walk nearby and used their kitchen facilities to cook a nice steak dinner.

Offering panoramic views of Lake Taupo, the luxurious self catering apartments at Baycrest Thermal Lodge feature free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. The shores of Lake Taupo are only 100 meters away. The Lodge is in a great location and we had a room with a beautiful view over the lake. We also enjoyed time in the property's private hot pool. The staff / owners were all very friendly and welcoming and we'll definitely be staying there again.

We had the perfect little lodge house right on the beach of lake Taupo. Great to see the sunset and be in a tranquil spot. The property was very clean and comfortable and had everything you could need. Bron the host was very welcoming and helpful. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot for the night.

Big open shared spaces made it easy to navigate. All of the amenities were new or great condition. The bedroom had all we needed and the shared bathroom spaces were modern and very clean.

Super nice hosts! They were so welcoming and friendly and showed us around the place! The shared kitchen & bathrooms were super clean and the little cabin was super comfortable and cozy. We even had a smaller toilet close to the cabin, which was perfect! The location is perfect, you‘re only a 20 minutrs drive from Coromandel and it‘s a great starting point for the Coromandel Coastal Walkway in the north. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come again!
