The rustic and ecological Tesoro Escondido Ecolodge Cabinas offers accommodation in Bluff Beach. Located in a secluded area of Colon. Bocas Town is 5 km from the property. Free Wi-Fi is available. We loved the overall vibe of this property. The communal spaces to eat are really nice and you feel a real hostel vibe even though the rooms are private. We loved the hotel beach that is easily accessible from the grounds. We stayed in the Estrella cabin that overlooked another quiet beach, so we’d fall asleep to the waves every night. There is a Toucan rescue who comes by a lot. I got to see her during my shower along with seeing a sloth from our balcony. I paid to get a massage done on site, and Josie did an amazing job! Owners and staff are also all extremely nice people.

The kitchen/ sitting area was spacious. The outdoor balcony is wide with a dining table and a view of the jungle...along with jungle sounds! The cottage is all wood giving it a real comfortable relaxing feeling. Close to the beach and several restaurants. Fabulous...if we ever get back to Bluff we would absolutely stay again 😊

The reef around it was beautiful, we seen a spotted eagle ray, octopus, moray, barracuda, toadfish, and more while snorkelling. Very peaceful, the owners live close by and stocked up the mini fridge within minutes of us asking. There was also the offer of breakfast and a 3 course dinner, which we didn't take, but in hindsight, might have made the trip even better. Wonderful 2 nights and would highly recommend. There was drinking water provided, warm showers, a toaster and a gas hob and the hosts were in contact before and during my visit, so i could find out anything i needed to know in advance.

The host was really nice and helped us with a lot of infos. There was also a Sloth in the garden and we were really really close to the nature. The breakfest was also very nice.

The great friendliness, however, is what really makes Chalet Tropical stand out. Making you feel like family is something Sarah and her staff go above and beyond for. They assisted with tour planning, suggested local attractions and undiscovered The setting is ideal: it's tucked away enough to let you feel completely surrounded by nature, yet also close enough to the village and beaches to explore with ease. It was a magical experience to wake up to the sounds of birds and fall asleep beneath a starry sky. Chalet Tropical is an experience more than just a place to stay. This is what you're searching for if you want something genuinely genuine, soul-stirring, and unforgettable. We were inspired, at ease, and already daydreaming about going back.

I have just finished my stay at Jungle Paunch and I really want to go back. Maxi is a great host, be will do everything to make you feel comfortable and help with whatever you need. Inside the cabins you will find the story of how Jungle Paunch was built and it is simply inspiring; a true eco lodge. the surroundings are magnificent and you can hear not only all the sounds of the jungle, but also the waves crashing in the sea very close by. an extraordinary experience, with regular visits from many animals! There is also a higher platform on the property that is excellent for meditating in the early morning and late afternoon! the Paunch area is very quiet, and Bluff beach - one of the owners’ passions - is well worth the visit. We stayed in Nathylodge for 3 nights and we were impressed by the warm welcoming of the owner Clarisse. She is amazing, kind and ready to help person! We felt like we came to friends. She also cooks incredibly tasty!! The territory of the hotel is very clean and tidy, a lot of green trees, flowers, grass. They take care of it very good. Also there is the private coral reef with amazing, beautiful corals. Lodges are good enough for 2 people, made in the province style, with big windows, big bed, hammock and two chairs to sit outside. Very clean, everything is new.
