Eco Quechua Lodge is an eco-friendly lodge offering private balconies with river and mountain views. Guests can take canopy, coffee, water falls, hot springs and hiking excursions. What a beautiful little piece of paradise! Nestled in the mountains, away from all, right on the banks of the Urubamba, whose soothing flow you can hear all through the night. The staff are very courteous, letting us check in several hours early and helping us to make arrangements with taxi drivers etc. as we didn't speak much Spanish. There's an awesome, very cute Rottweiler called Ukuku who keeps wanting to play fetch as well:)

Spacious room with comfortable bed, kitchen with all necessary equipment, hot shower, very nice host and beautiful views around. I felt like home here! I recommend this place to those who want to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. I loved it here!

The area is super safe and close to the center of Urubamba. The Family Bungalows are very spacious and super clean. We saw that the team cleaned everything (including curtains and windows) after each departure. They cleaned it also from the „former“ energy. Breakfast was served direkt to your bungalow at the time you want - just tell them per WhatsApp or personally. The service is outstanding. Luis and Anna helped us more than we ever expected. I had a medical issue because of the altitude and Luis drove us to the medical center - stayed and translated for us! Just amazing! Anna and Luis are the souls and the owners of the Kutimuy Lodge - Thank you for all you did - from our hearts! Go there - enjoy the Lodge and never ask if the price is to high! It is not! It’s hard to choose what I loved most about Spirit of the River Lodge, everything was truly wonderful. The location is magical and peaceful, with the sound of the river always in the background and barely any traffic passing by. We stayed twice, in two different rooms, and both were beautifully designed, cozy, and offered gorgeous views of the river. You can really feel how thoughtfully everything was created to respect and highlight the natural surroundings. The lodge has a sauna overlooking the river, direct access to the water, and a small yoga shala where I enjoyed my morning practice and reading. Claudia and Rudi were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. They made us feel like family. We had dinner one night and breakfast each morning, and even as vegans, we felt so well cared for. The food was amazing. They also have lovely animals, a llama named Tupac and two sweet dogs, Max and Juanita, who added so much joy to our stay. The area is relaxing but also well located, with easy access to nearby towns and cities. We came back twice because we truly fell in love with the place. I can’t recommend it enough!

It’s in a great location away from everything. There is a beautiful river nearby and a great stroll through the jungle as well. There is lots of wildlife. We saw all sorts of mammals and birds. The cabins are beautifully made and the very comfortable and clean. The shower is exceptional. They even offer you gumboots which are great to get around in.

Star lodge was exceptional. The location, the food, the staff the activities. It was a 10/10 experience from start to finish. A special thanks to Bryan and Alan for being so welcoming & helpful throughout. Would strongly recommend anyone visiting the area to stay in Starlodge for a unique experience
