Everything about it was a delight. The staff, food, surrounding landscape, tour offerings, the room...we loved every minute of our stay.

The hotel provides a free shuttle service to and from Padre Aldamiz International Airport. Inkaterra Hacienda Concepcion is accessed via a 10-minute ride from the airport then a 25-minute boat ride from Puerto Maldonado port. Excursions were excellent and part of what makes the experience of the stay. The food was decent quality and the hotel was very generous with its meals. The seats outside of the rooms were nice to look at surroundings. Bed was massive and comfy.

Many birds and small wild life in the lodge. Expeditions organised by the lodge are various and with excellent guide (Moses). The swimming pool is a plus. Cook is great. Bungalows are very confortable. We highly recommend !

Let’s be clear: keeping such a hotel working in a national park demands lots of logistics (they’re not even allowed to do laundry on site , everything linen and food is transported on boats and then by hand!). Their team works like crazy to keep this experience great and they can be proud. Of course it’s not a traditional 5* and the insect experience could be rough to some but you can’t imagine anything better in such a remote location. Truly a memorable experience, knowledgeable and welcoming guides. This is one trip we’ll always remember.

We loved a few days of relaxing by the pool in a little slice of paradise. The staff were exceptionally accommodating, the food was delicious and the scenery was beautiful.
