Emmanuel did everything he could to make sure we had a pleasant and smooth stay, including booking all our tours, help with transportation and arranges meals for us when we could not do it himself. You can really tell how much he cares and it is a very nice feeling being his guests

The hotel provides a free shuttle service to and from Padre Aldamiz International Airport. Inkaterra Hacienda Concepcion is accessed via a 10-minute ride from the airport then a 25-minute boat ride from Puerto Maldonado port. This lodge exceeded our expectations. Amazing meals. Beautiful wild setting. Clean, spacious, comfortable rooms. Excellent guided tours (our guide Uriel was magnificent and fabulous at spotting wildlife.) The boat trips along the rivers were surreal, especially the morning breakfast boat out to see the wild parrots on the clay licks. The pickup and luggage storage services were added bonuses. This definitely requires a three night stay (which we did) 4 nights would have been out of this world.

The bungalows at Tambopata River feature twin beds and a hammock. They are surrounded by a pure, green environment and have panoramic river views. There is electricity 24/7 and cellphone signal. From our friendly tuk tuk driver Jaime, who picked us up from the airport, to the final breakfast at this outstanding family run business, we enjoyed every second of our stay here. Rolan and his family took great care of us, the home cooked meals were sensational and the trips arranged by our hosts showed us the best this location can offer. Nothing was too much trouble - if you want to experience an authentic stay in the rainforest with excellent food and company, this is the place for you!
