He was attentive to our needs, whilst giving us space to relax and rest our weary bodies. The pool was hot, although we didn’t have time to use it, the place was lovely with well kept plants and flowers and decorations. When we were about to leave, Ronaldo offered us bamboo sticks to walk up the last part of the trek to Cabanaconde. The beds were great with memory foam pillows and warm blankets and it was a relief with the hot shower to clean off the days sweat and dust - with shampoo and conditioner there! The food was good and a really good price, and we were able to stalk up on water and snacks before the trek up.

The rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated - they seem also very new overall. The food was very good and exactly what we needed after the hike to the location! The family who runs the lodge are very lovely and welcomed us very warmly once we arrived - we also love Pepe the dog!

At the lodge guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot spring bath. The garden is gorgeous, the hot pools were a real treat after the hike. The rooms are simple but comfortable and clean and the dinner and food served were really good!

Run primarily by a very hard-working and kind and thoughtful family. Food was farm-to-table. Views are so great you should spent at least two full days there to get full appreciation. Our Lady of the Assumption Church is 7.5 km from Lodge Mirador San Antonio- Colca, while Chivay Arena is 7.7 km away. Rodríguez Ballón International Airport is 148 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Sandra is such a great host, she helped us with organizing all activities in the area. Very unique location. The food was very good. We also really liked the fireplace.

Cabanaconde can be reached in 3 hours, by foot, horse or mule only. Owners extremely attentive to care and very nice, the food is amazing, and rooms are clean (not sure why we read the opposite on some reviews - I think two hotels are called the same), great stay!

Rooms are built on Andean terraces, surrounded by gardens and camping areas. The wooden cabins blend harmoniously with the environment and offer both private and shared bathroom options, hot water, and an on-site restaurant with a bar. the stuff was very friendly and welcoming. We felt very good and had a great time.
