The rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated - they seem also very new overall. The food was very good and exactly what we needed after the hike to the location! The family who runs the lodge are very lovely and welcomed us very warmly once we arrived - we also love Pepe the dog!

The view is stunning whereever you look, you have to be there to feel the greatness of that place. A room with the most amazing view. Apo the dog sleeping on my door step & following me. So cute! Im glad I stayed for a few days, thats how you can appreciate every little thing. It should not be rushed, go with the pace.

Beautiful area. Nice pool to swim in. Room was clean and there was a hot shower. Big portion for lunch and dinner. Alcoholic drinks for very good price. They serve breakfast at 05:30h, which is great if you want to start hiking early outside the canyon.

Our stay here was absolutely incredible. Our room had the most magnificent view, everything was clean, the pool and the grounds were immaculately maintained. This place was the highlight of our trip. When you realize that each piece of furniture and material had to brought down the canyon manually one by one, you really appreciate all the amenities that you have. Just incredible.

Llahuar Lodge is located along the trekking circuit of the Colca Canyon in Arequipa, approximately a 5-hour walk from the town of Cabanaconde, right at the union of the Colca and Huaruro rivers. Very nice, quiet place. Super nice people who worked there. And very nice hotsprings and river for bathing!!
