The location, the coziness of the huts, the surrounding nature, the small path to town which goes through local villagers and last but not least Angie and Simon were absolutely lovely, helpful and really make you feel at home. Stayed one week but could have stayed so much more. You get all the information you need to explore the island by yourself and really great reccomendations for both more touristy and more isolated place. Stay here if you are going to Moalboal and like a more quiet place and you won't regret it.

We enjoyed this small, beautiful, intimate lodge. The rooms were spacious, absolutely clean, no evidence of ants which are everywhere in the islands. Bathroom ultra modern, air conditioning was heavenly. Our biggest surprise was although I read online that there was a shared cooking area ...I was pleased to see it was a four burner stove with oven! We home cooked almost every meal which is what my kids who traveled to meet us want to do so they can try American food. We even had access to a charcoal grill. We absolutely felt at home and wish we had more time to spend at this location. Beach access was just steps away. A lovely beach restaurant about 500 yards down the beach. Bicycles for rent next door. But the catch to all of this is it was quiet! secluded! Not in the middle of the hubbub. We made one trip to a market and got frozen and fresh meat, poultry and seafood, some canned and packaged items and fresh produce and we had enough refrigerator and freezer space to handle a weeks worth of food for 7. Mrs. Virginia and her staff were absolutely accommodating and always inquiring if we needed anything. I like to think we are low maintenance but other cultures don't necessarily see us the way we see ourselves....but I genuinely believe that we will be welcomed back!! We look forward to returning in 2026!

Communication was very impressive. Staff were very helpful and so accomodating. The chalet itself is so cute and the location was perfect was located in the main street, so close to the shops and bars, it was also just 5 minutes walk from the beach were you could free dive to see the sardines. The accommodation offers motorbike, snorkelling, tour etc which is very handy. I've met one of the owners Angel she was so lovely we have a chat for almost an hour, you could just tell they were very hands on, on the property and on their staff. Highly recommend it. Im deffinately coming back to stay at Villa Lovi and would even stay longer next time.

We highly recommended do staying there before going to Malapascua island!

The views are stunning, the private infinity pool is amazing, and the place is beautifully decorated with a mix of local style and modern comfort. It was spotless, very comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location is perfect-quiet and peaceful, but just a short drive to whale shark tours, Tumalog Falls, and local restaurants. The bar on the property is just a short walk from the villa and serves really good drinks. The host was super friendly and helpful. Honestly, one of the best stays we've ever had.
