Moped rental recomemded 5-10 minutes to White Island port and the airport. Cute resident dogs are a bonus :-) Starlink installation has recently happened so it would make a good base for nomads, given that and the bungalow size, bedroom, dining (work) area and outdoor space.

This place is beautifully designed, relaxing, clean and cool. The jungle huts have everything you need, comfy bed & pillows, lots of space with hangers and shelves to unpack your things. The bathroom was amazing (and perfect for your mirror selfies), made out of bamboo and super soft towels. The huts have a fan inside which is definitely enough to keep you cool. We have zero complaints from our stay except we wish we stayed longer. The staff welcome you so warmly and when you leave you feel like you are saying goodbye to an old friend. Shout out to Ien, you are amazing. We had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with the owners who were so kind, nothing was too much. The breakfast area is super chilled out and we had smoothie bowls and pancakes here which were the best on the island for sure. We will definitely return and have and will continue to recommended this place.

Our stay in La Fuga is one of the best stays of our life. We travel often and this is actually the first time we experienced this kind of service. The rooms are spacious and bathrooms are clean. Cleaning service is daily and towel changed every other day. The position is great. 7 minutes by scooter to General Luna, close enough to have lots of green and a peaceful stay. The receptionist and his helper, our kuyas, are always there to help. We asked for scooter rentals, jeep rental, island hopping excursions and airport transfers, everything all arranged by them even the day before. They always do their best and put a lot of effort for you to have a smooth stay. They have created a Whatsapp conversation for our group so they be easily reacheble and work as a concierge service (which makes a HUGE difference vs the other hotels in siargao). We will go back and reccomend this place to all our friends going to siargao !
