The breakfast was outstanding, as was all the food. Joanne is a sublime cook, and each meal was an experience of sight, taste and surprise. Joanne and Tony have created an oasis - a green paradise filled with beautiful plants, a manicured lawn, a coffee house, an on-site restaurant, big blue pool. The quiet location and the huge glass windows of your en-suite room make you feel like you are embraced by nature and the surrounding Forest. it is so beautiful, you feel special, spoilt, and so pleased that you chose to stay here. We were unexpectedly caught up in the typhoon, and they calmed us down, helped make alternative arrangements and were so kind. All our needs were thoughtfully catered to, and when we needed tricycle transport or anything else, they could not have been more helpful, arranging it for us. Kate, their lovely daughter, who looked after us in the restaurant, where we ate all our meals, is friendly, and each meal was a memorable experience. Cannot recommend this stay highly enough.

The location, the coziness of the huts, the surrounding nature, the small path to town which goes through local villagers and last but not least Angie and Simon were absolutely lovely, helpful and really make you feel at home. Stayed one week but could have stayed so much more. You get all the information you need to explore the island by yourself and really great reccomendations for both more touristy and more isolated place. Stay here if you are going to Moalboal and like a more quiet place and you won't regret it.

I recommend having dinner or drinks at sunset. the food and drinks were good. the room had everything - towels, toiletries, indoor sleepers, hangers, a silent ac. Very good value.

We had such an amazing time at Tongo Hill Cottages. Such amazing service - help everywhere we needed from booking tours to having our laundry done. We went diving with the sardines and canyoneering in the waterfalls. We didn’t feel super comfortable on motorbikes but the hotel organized easy transport for us into town. The chill area is wonderful and the Wi-Fi was strong enough for me to complete my work, even taking video calls. The rooms are simple but exactly what you need and the place is just simply breathtaking. We knew there was no AC coming into the place and we were very happy (even cold!) with the fans in the room. They bring WONDERFUL breakfast daily to the room - we felt so well treated. In the afternoons, Someone we would even order cocktails to the lounge area. They even arranged a seamless pick up from the airport for us from Cebu airport which went so smoothly - don’t hesitate to book this service, it’s so much better than trying to navigate the bus on the windy long journey. Thank you so much for everything!

The hospitality of the resort's respected owners is number 1! They made us feel more welcome and "homie". Thank you 🙏🙏 They spent time talking with us and hanging out with us with their cute puppies. I called them Queen Lexie & Princess Hearty. You guys will fall in love with them. Puppies are very friendly & know how to entertain guests as well. - The accomodation location is so near to the Airport. - Home-cooked breakfast is so yummy and very affordable. - The interior design of the rooms is so cozy & elegant, the AC is so cool & quiet, each room is very tidy, clean, smells good, (definitely no smoking inside) and there were absolutely no insects or pests inside the rooms. - No shower heater, but I did not mind, no big deal, manageable. - The pool has a sauna and waterfall — OMG we loved it, and we enjoyed it! - With free toiletries. - Fresh & smells good sheets, linens, towels. - Outdoor area, not too bad for insects, despite the location being surrounded by a bushy area. - Rough road going to the resort, but we didn't mind, most of the resorts located in back road areas are the same. That is what is in Bohol, so no big deal, all worth it! it does not affect the accomodation and overall holiday in Bohol itself, and they will help you with transport. TukTuk is very affordable & prompt, and the drivers are very knowledgeable about tourist area destinations. - The resort itself is very near the Alona Beach area & accessible to different restos, bars & beaches. And also near the point area for going to Oslob, Cebu for whale shark watching. - The resort is very quiet & peaceful. I can't barely hear roosters or dogs. - Personally, I was content just to chill at the resort the whole day. - Grab or Food panda is available in the area. - Accomodation rate is very affordable. - See you again Lexie & Hearty ☺️ Highly Recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

And even better - guests staying here have their own private hut with two chairs and a hammock. Elizer, our host, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. His warm and attentive hospitality was matched by his uncle, who handled our transport with reliability and professionalism. This accommodation strikes the perfect balance between adventure and relaxation. For those seeking peace, natural beauty and outstanding service, this jungle hideaway is an absolute must-visit. DMC1 Residence Panglao se află în Panglao, la 14 minute de mers pe jos de Plaja Alona, și oferă WiFi gratuit, o grădină și parcare privată gratuită. Spacious room, very clean and good facilities. About 7 min walk from the beach, so close to restaurants etc. and most importantly the host is beyond helpful. So responsive, made a lovely breakfast for us and went out of her way to support in making birthday / valentine plans. Thanks Emily
