Eco Surflodge Azores is truly a gem.. I would even call it a boutique hostel. The interior is tastefully designed, with a warm and relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel at home from the moment you walk in ♥️ I stayed in the shared dormitory and was genuinely impressed. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, with high-quality linens, duvets, and even two pillows (a rare luxury in hostels!). The privacy curtains around each bed created a real sense of personal space and quiet, something every traveler appreciates. The bathrooms were just as delightful: beautifully maintained and aesthetically pleasing. That said, I would kindly suggest that fellow guests take a little more care to keep the shared areas tidy, especially during busy hours - it would make the space even more enjoyable for everyone. If I may propose two small improvements: it would be very helpful to have a few hooks in the dorm room for jackets or coats, as well as inside the shower cabins for towels or clothing. These little practical touches can go a long way ☺️ Now, the breakfast deserves its own praise - generous, varied, beautifully presented, and with plenty of options for vegetarians. Quite honestly, many hotels would be proud to offer a breakfast of this quality! My only suggestion, as someone who has both traveled extensively and previously run a hostel myself, would be to consider extending the breakfast serving time slightly. With only one hour available, it can get a little crowded, and it’s a shame not to be able to fully enjoy such a lovely meal in a relaxed setting. The staff were kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. In short: a truly wonderful place - full of thoughtful details and a warm, stylish atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Quinta do Malhinha- Turismo in Angra do Heroísmo features a garden and barbecue facilities. This chalet provides free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. It was very quiet and relaxing. Celina was very helpful and welcoming. The animals were so friendly. The room was well equipped with a kitchen that had a hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and cutlery etc. Comfy bed and lovely views. First time in my life I heard peacocks while having my breakfast :) we fed the horses and the deer with carrots. Wish we could stay longer. Thank you for everything

A private entrance leads guests into the chalet, where they can enjoy some wine or champagne and fruits. This chalet is allergy-free and non-smoking. If I could give a million stars I would. Genuinely. Beautiful house, the loveliest hosts I’ve ever met (and I stay in holiday rentals a lot), and the most beautiful views and grounds. Our daughter got to feed the goats and chickens and helped with the cows, and Lucia and Tony made pizza and cookies with us on our last night. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and generosity. We had honey from the bees and delicious eggs from the hens, and fresh bread every day. Truly felt better than a home away from home - because we don’t live anywhere near as stunning a place :) Highly and fully recommended. Our daughter and we will be talking about this stay for all our years. Thank you Lucia and Tony! We arrived as guests and left as friends 💕

Guests can relax on the sofa while enjoying the warmth of the fireplace and the views of the natural landscape. Filipe the host was amazing!! So helpful and welcoming. We received an amazing welcome basket and the place was amazingly equipped with everything we could possibly need. The location is amazing!! On the water but still close to everything in town. If Im back I’m definitely booking again 🙌🏻

Central location, beautiful view from the hall window to the marina and yachts. Quick check-in, top communication with the owners. Excellent location: in the building several souvenir stores, next to the supermarket and cafes. Opposite the building in the marina is a good restaurant, there are also boat trips.

We just loved everything about this place, the old house, top quality of everthing - everything was chosen for it quality by the owner. The owner and his girlfriend were wonderful people and had a lot of good advises and information. We could not have had a better place to stay. We hope to come back. Thanks!

Towels and bed linen are provided in the chalet. The property has an outdoor dining area. We absolutely loved our stay in Tania and Paul's cottage. It is the perfect location for exploring the eastern side of the island. The view from the terrace is stunning and the jacuzzi was nice after a long day of hiking and exploring. We really enjoyed being able to pick up groceries and use the full kitchen to prepare meals. The inside of the house is beautifully decorated and we were very comfortable. We will certainly return and stay here again.

We loved the location close to activities and dining, as well as being centrally located on the island. The home was well appointed, fresh, clean, tastefully decorated and had a lot of space. We felt fortunate to book short notice and had a pleasant stay start to finish. Jason was helpful in pinning all the local recommendation to Google for us! Superior communication from hosts!
