I like all - from meeting of kind owner, little, but important details in the bathroom, (like teeth brush of bamboo,), we could find all equipments in kitchen, supper breakfast, when even croissant🥐 and bread were warm. I like a lot friendly to health dishes 🫙( i mean bottles from glass to keep milk, jam and butter, i usually use just such, it was perfect!!! ), very good wine, i think it was from local grapes🍇, even virgin olive oil🫒, which owners gave to us to do food. I adored to stay in this cute rustic cottage , soo nice view from little yard to mountains, birds singing in mornings and it was so great to eat in the yard, to smell roses, to enjoy views of mountains, to see sunsets. The village was fantastic, some old houses were from stones too, around olives trees and we could hear romantic church bells. Nearby a village you can find very nice mountain river with stone bridge. Around silence of nature, soooo calm and fantastic, obrigado, superr, adore..It was really great my birthday journey to mountains. 💜💚

O Refúgio das Buracas là chỗ nghỉ nằm ở Condeixa a Nova và có sân trong. Chalet này cách Santa Clara a Velha Monastery 21 km và Công viên chủ đề Portugal dos Pequenitos 21 km. Lovely spot in an ancient village. Great opportunity to share a bit of history in a comfortable manner.

After snuggling in and heating our little house, Adelina came by and offered to make us supper. She made us a great supper and we enjoyed every minute of her and her husband's company. We used Google translate to our good advantage. Enjoyed the supper she made in the local community building and watched some football with the locals. We were supposed to spend the next night in nearby Piodao but scrapped that for an extra night in Porto due to the cold weather. We did visit Piodao and found it to be overly commercial where as Arganil really seemed like the real deal.

This is a lovely typical house in a wonderful village close to Lousã. We enjoyed a lot the comfort and all amenities of the house. The village is located on a trail leading you to the Castelo de Lousã. We strongly recommend Casa do Cascão to anyone who would like to experience a visit to this part of Portugal.

A cute and unique property. The property had everything we needed for a short stay. The views around the property are amazing. Very comfortable deck chairs to sit outside. We received a very warm welcome from our hosts on the day. The breakfast was amazing lots of fruit and bread and croissants delivered on the morning.

The house used to be a monastery and has deep history but you wouldn’t know it without the host telling you. It has all the modern features but the history makes it even more special. What was truly best was the host. Roi and his family became our family while here as well. That might not be what everyone might appreciate, but for us it made our stay even more enjoyable. They gave us full privacy but we wanted to get to know them better and they allowed that. Including sharing some time with Steve, their dog. So special.
