As soon as we arrived for our two night stay I knew we’d made a mistake - we should have booked to stay for much, much longer!!!!Loved everything about the property - beautifully renovated, stylish, comfortable and clean. The outside spaces are amazing. Different places to sit or lounge and all with an amazing view of the Atlantic. All of this and a friendly, helpful host - I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Not only by far the best place I stayed in Madeira but one of the best I've stayed in the world!! I booked this place as a chill out space for near the end of my trip to Madeira as I knew I would be hiking a lot (I was) and I would need a place to relax and recover. Well this was that and more. Joao messaged me to ask what time I would arrive and when I did I parked my car and he met me. Joao is a gentleman, a very nice guy and you can see he has put a lot of love into this project. I also appreciate that he met me and chatted to me and gave some tips on where to go for food and sightseeing. The apartment itself was just amazing. It's so well decorated, with floor to ceiling glass doors and windows on one side and it lets in so much light. There was complimentary wine, a nice big TV for watching movies in the evening, the bed was fantastic, and waking up to that view everyday was a great mood lifter. Both evenings I sat on the balcony to watch the sunset over the ocean with a glass of wine and it was so so nice. This is what holidays are all about, proper relaxation. There is a nice little bar/cafe only 1 min walk away which also has a great view of the sunset too and less than a 5 min drive away there is a few nice restaurants and a shop. I had high expectations of this place and it massively exceeded even them. I highly highly recommend this place and hopefully I may stay here again if it isn't booked out. One of the highlights of my trip and one of the best places I have ever stayed anywhere.

On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the chalet's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. This is a beautiful accommodation with exceptional view. Everything I needed was on-site, and I was very comfortable. The stay was very relaxing and enjoyable.

With garden views, this accommodation provides a balcony. Girao Cape is 12 km from the villa and Marina do Funchal is 21 km away. Location was excellent for our needs, away from any crowds and in a peaceful area but within a reasonable and pleasant walk along the promenade to local town with good restaurants and bars. The space and facilities within the property were excellent, kitchen had everything we could possibly need, bed extremely comfortable and a really good and luxurious shower and separate bath. The pool and outdoor spaces were perfect with sun on the property for the majority of the day until early evening. The entire place was really clean and attractive and well kept gardens an added bonus. Our host, Richard, was extremely helpful and approachable and responded to any queries promptly. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again should we return to Madeira.

Such a beautiful location!! Pictures don’t do it justice. Easy self check in, clean and very nicely decorated.

Boasting mountain views, Chalet Tropical features accommodation with a private beach area, a garden and a terrace, around 200 metres from Caminho Faja do Mar Beach. This beachfront property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. The holiday home features a solarium and bicycle parking. Me and my boyfriend spent a total of 6 days in the Tropical Chalet. We could have stayed there for at least another month. The place's absolutely lovely. Basically it's straight among banana trees and other beautiful tropical plants and flowers. There're very few other houses in the neighborhood and the closest main street's very quiet making the whole area very peaceful. The backyard has a great view over the ocean and the surrounding banana trees. Also, the hammock's a nice touch to the whole experience. The balcony on the first floor's anotheru lovely space and the house itself is functional though not particularly luxurious or equipped. The only thing tricky is maybe the fact that the street to get to the house's very steep and narrow (some taxis refuse to drive down there). The suggestion is to get a car or even better a motorbike. By foot it's nice to walk down to the beach or through the levadas that go along the coastline. Though mind that it's a very long and steep way to get to the nearest supermarket, bar or shop. This is another reason why having a car/motorbike is highly advisable. Overall, a very nice and recommended accommodation for ocean-loving couples/singles seeking a place to enjoy nature and tranquility.
