The views from the terrace and balcony are incredible places to watch the sunset from. The house is comfortable and beautiful with everything you would need to cook at home if you choose to. Waterfalls, restaurants, and town are a few minutes walk away. The host is incredibly kind and welcoming.

Breakfast was truly amazing! Always a bit different but mostly regional, and often included homemade things. The pool was warm enough for swimming even in February, and the view over the sea is gorgeous - sunset cottage indeed :)

On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the chalet's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. This is a beautiful accommodation with exceptional view. Everything I needed was on-site, and I was very comfortable. The stay was very relaxing and enjoyable.

Location was excellent for our needs, away from any crowds and in a peaceful area but within a reasonable and pleasant walk along the promenade to local town with good restaurants and bars. The space and facilities within the property were excellent, kitchen had everything we could possibly need, bed extremely comfortable and a really good and luxurious shower and separate bath. The pool and outdoor spaces were perfect with sun on the property for the majority of the day until early evening. The entire place was really clean and attractive and well kept gardens an added bonus. Our host, Richard, was extremely helpful and approachable and responded to any queries promptly. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again should we return to Madeira.

This location is fantastic if you want a relaxed quiet getaway. The house has everything you would need, TV, high speed internet and a great kitchen. The views were amazing and the location although isolated was within a 5 minute drive of a shop & Cafe.

This beachfront property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. The holiday home features a solarium and bicycle parking. We really enjoyed our stay at Chalet Tropical. It's the perfect place for anyone seeking peace and relaxation. The garden has a wonderful view of the sea, and in the evenings, you can fall asleep listening to the waves and the animals. We would love to come again.

Guests can take in the views of the city from the patio, which also has outdoor furniture. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Our family of 5 (two parents and three kids ages 13, 10, and 6) had an amazing stay here during our kids' February break. The house is exactly as described, and is lovely. Each of the 4 bedrooms has a beautiful view of the city and the ocean, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and the outside patio was beautiful. We enjoyed wine outside in the evenings, and the kids ate breakfast outside in the morning. The best part of our stay was the host, Sidónio. He was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. He had great suggestions for things to do and see on Madeira, and our trip would not have been the same without his suggestions!
