Povestea din Munti exceeded our expectations in all aspects. Anka was so very friendly and attentive to us. The room and common areas were more than clean - they were spotless. It was a pleasure to chat with her and I could tell that she has a lot of pride in her place, and it shows. The rooms were decorated very well and gardens were meticulously maintained. Also, since it was over 33 degrees during the day, the air conditioner was worked great and was very much appreciated. Other than that, the location of Povestea din Munti was perfect for what we had planned for our trip. I highly recommend staying here.

Podul De Brazi providencia acomodações em Cîrţişoara com terraço ou varanda, acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e televisão de ecrã plano, bem como um jardim e um salão partilhado. We stayed one night before we moved forward and we rested very well. The owner is very nice and the place is close to the mountain which makes it perfect for the ones who want to ride Transfăgărășan and enjoy the area. The facility is the well equipped and very clean.

Everthing you need to cook is available. There is no supermarket around there, so you shall bring your items before getting there. Little river flowing next to facility is get people calm. Strongly suggest there especially for motocyclist.

Cabana Zimbru Transfagarasan apresenta vista da montanha, acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e estacionamento privado gratuito em Arefu, a 12 km de Barragem de Vidraru. Where should I start…? 😊 We came to Romania for a one week road trip. From Bucharest it took us almost 3 hours to reach the property. Once we arrived our jaw dropped when we witnessed the beauty of the location. Despite getting hyped in our ascension on the road seeing the mighty mountains, Vidraru dam and a couple of entertaining bears on the side of the road we still got pleasantly impressed by the view! We booked one night but it took us only 5 minutes to decide that we need to stay at least two days there. “Ishi” ( I hope that I don’t twist her name😊) made sure that we have everything we need upon arrival and she was extremely diplomatic and kind during the whole stay. It was like a dream to be there especially that we had the whole resort for us and that made us feel like royalty. ( we arrived in the beginning of June) The food was great and I was more than surprised by the traditional notes in every single dish we ordered.(keep in mind that my roots are Romanian and everything tasted like my grandmother cooked 😋) Sadly none of the other places we stayed at in the rest of our road trip came close to even match Cabana Zimbru’s per total impression, hospitality and wellbeing. Big thanks to Lulu and Teddy (the two dogs on the property) that were our “guardian angels” working day and night to keep an eye on everything that moves.

The DREAM A-frame Cabin situa-se em Arpaşu de Sus, na região de Sibiu Judet, e dispõe de acomodações com estacionamento privado gratuito. The house is simply unique — very cozy and modern, with clean and wonderful air. I 100% recommend it for a vacation! The hosts are very kind and pleasant people! Everything was wonderful!

LiAn House situa-se a 15 km de Fortaleza de Fagaras e dispõe de acomodações com um jardim, um salão partilhado e uma cozinha partilhada, para sua conveniência. The hosts very absolutely fabulous. I liked the design of the room, the location was also very good in a quite area close to the Transfagarasan. There were also some restaurants in the town, just a short drive away. I can absolutely recommend this place.

The place is designed flawlessly, very clean and equipped with everything one needs. The cabins are beautiful, comfortable and in a great location to start the transfagarasan journey.

TheAttic encontra-se em Corbeni, apenas a 11 km de Barragem de Vidraru e 41 km de Cozia AquaPark. Locație superba, cabana decorata cu gust excelent si foarte comod.

Apresentando vista da cidade, Casuta Nest fornece acomodações com um terraço e pátio, a cerca de 38 km de Cozia AquaPark. Very nice and clean space, we will definitely come back.
