Povestea din Munti exceeded our expectations in all aspects. Anka was so very friendly and attentive to us. The room and common areas were more than clean - they were spotless. It was a pleasure to chat with her and I could tell that she has a lot of pride in her place, and it shows. The rooms were decorated very well and gardens were meticulously maintained. Also, since it was over 33 degrees during the day, the air conditioner was worked great and was very much appreciated. Other than that, the location of Povestea din Munti was perfect for what we had planned for our trip. I highly recommend staying here.

The property is new and very modern. The owner and manager Fabian is amazing. He loves the property and is extremely knowledgeable about the surrounding area. If your are looking to just relax thst is great but if your want to explore the area he knows all the great locations and trails. The area is being modernized, but many of the locals only speak Romanian. Fabian however is fluent in english (and perhaps other languages) and is always willing to help translate. He even relayed my dinner orders to a local restaurant, so when I arrived the food was already made and the transaction was easy and smooth. Overall my stay at Tiarra mountain lodge was a wonderful experience and a highlight of my time in Romania.

Amazing location, fairytale stay with snow falling out the window that backs into a forest full of pine trees. Such an excellent spot for a family with 2 small children, but would suit any age family. Host was so nice and went above and beyond to make pur stay unforgettable (like provide gloves and toys for our children) .

The bungalows are modern and well equipped. The area is amazing and offers great opportunities to visit nearby attractions. Owners were very friendly and answered any questions. Great for families and those interested of some peace.

Nort Inn - Luncile Prigoanei, Sureanu, Oasa, Transalpina encontra-se em Tău Bistra e apresenta acomodações a 44 km de Sarmizegetusa Regia. We had a wonderful stay at Nort Inn, the area is very peaceful and the Inn is new, modern and very clean. The staff are super friendly and nice and they helped me get back an item I lost. There is a breakfast option which was very tasty, with fresh bread right out of the oven! I recommend this place 100%!

The house has very comfortable and cozy heating. Excellent shower. Comfortable balcony facing the view. Close parking. Excellent WiFi. The hostess was very accessible and friendly, helped us locate restaurants and interesting places.
