The property is non-smoking and is located 19 km from Kiruna Bus Station. Superb, quiet cabin, with a stunning view over a frozen river. Great location to relax and take in the nature. Short 15 mins drive from the airport, easily accessible with a rental car, with the cabin being both remote and actually not too far of a drive from a small supermarket etc. Extremely nice and helpful owners, with Cecilia being super warm and always at the ready to help, living on the same property. Very clean cabin, with a great high bed, incl.a remote-control adjustable matress and a huge panoramic window above the bed, for that perfectly relaxing viewing point for aurora. Highly recommendable !

The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

This hotel is in Abisko, just 2 minutes’ walk from Abisko Östra Train Station. Abisko Mountain Lodge’s in-house restaurant Brasserie Fjällköket has a seasonal menu based on locally sourced ingredients. 2 km away from us you can find Abisko national park and the Aurora Sky Station. From Abisko Mountain Lodge you have several different trails you can do day hikes

In the lounge bar you can sit and relax in front of the fireplace. The Lodge is really nice, cosy, comfortable. The welcome you wish when arriving in Abisko. The room (superior) was pretty big and characteristic. Good restaurant (the only one probably in Abisko when we got there) and good breakfast! The hall has a cosy area with books and board games, and a small shop. The personnel is kind and gives good suggestions. There is a flat high ground area 3 min walking (helicopter base) with darker sky where to spot aurora! Sauna is a plus.

Reindeer Lodge features a sauna and free private parking, and is within 23 km of Kiruna Train Station and 20 km of Kiruna Bus Station.

Buffet and continental breakfast options are available at the lodge. stunning location, beautifully authentic accommodation (very warm), and great staff.

Esrange Space Center is 21 km from Camp Caroli Wooden Cabins, while LKAB Visitor Centre is 24 km away. Kiruna Airport is 17 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. We needed a place for 1 night while travelling and the price was good, the cabin was very clean, and the small kitchen had everything we needed

Aurora Camp Kurravaara offers a range of accommodation from simple cabins and cottages without running water, to unique glass huts and private fully equipped cabins. In the summer Aurora Camp Kurravaara also offers tree tents. Bed linen and towels are always included. Our lake view cottage was exactly as in the pictures. Aurora Camp is in a beautiful location in the wilderness and a great spot to see the Northern Lights. Unfortunately when we stayed it was cloudy. Staff were very welcoming. Aurora camp offers the opportunity to experience sleeping in an igloo. There is no running water and the toilet / showers are communal (clean) in the main area about 200m from the main part of the camp. I used the sauna for my shower and had a snow bath - very refreshing. The drive down the road can be a little scary, so just take it easy.

Just 500 metres from the slopes of Riksgränsen Ski Resort, these apartments feature private balconies and modern kitchens with microwaves, fridges and tea/coffee makers. Guests also enjoy free sauna access.
