My husband and I spent two nights here and Celia is an amazing woman, she speaks perfect English, she is from Portugal but she has been living here on the cliff for many years with the local community and teaching them. It's a really beautiful place with its own rocky beach. There is often a problem with power cuts, but we didn't mind as we came to relax. The food was fabulous. They look after lots of dogs but only let them out when guests don't mind.

Gorgeous location offering a stunning view over Praias dos Tamarindos (5-10 min walking distance). Zen atmosphere with the sound of waves, crickets at night and birds during the day. The owner Adi and his staff welcomed and treated us as we were in a 5* establishment. They were very accommodating day and night. There are 2 identical bungalows with a huge terrace. They are set in the middle of the plantation. The bed is comfortable and the fan works powerfully. Hot water with good pressure went the pump is on. The food is exceptional at a very good price. We had a gastronomical tasting for our first night. Ingredients are mainly from their plantation and according to the catch of the day for the seafood. Their fresh Cajamanga juice is addictive. We initially planned to stay 1 night but ended up staying 4 nights. We really enjoyed our experience, the kindness and the smile of this place.

I stayed in Eco-Por my last two days in São Tomé. It was just perfect. Felt like I am in middle of tropical forest and I was alone. Beautifully designed, clean home. I had an accident on my way there, ended up in hospital couple of hours as I broke my leg. Arrived there in a taxi with plastered leg. The staff (Rodrigo) did everything to make sure I was okay, checked on me every few hours, brought me me food from village. I managed to get rest in my way long journey home. Place has, I believe no restaurant etc but next to a big village for any need. Couldn’t walk around the area but sitting on my private terrace, looking down to river and listening the nature really made stay there. Breakfast was not included but staff (Fabio, his name I think) made very nice breakfast my two morning there. Many fruit, juice, hot drink, letter and fresh bread was more than enough. Ned was on hard side but was comfortable for me. WiFi, aircon, mini fridge worked very well. It was a perfect way of ending my active holiday in São Tomé.

The properlly IS a nice land un a calm área and the wolden House IS very pretty and well equiped. But the BEST was the treatment from the owner Joana and his college Eloy that were super helpfull all the time. They help in all we ask and during the stay they were asking about our stay every couple of days. I had a truly wonderful stay – it was pure happiness from start to finish. I met some truly amazing people who made the experience even more special. The nearby beaches are absolutely stunning – so beautiful they almost don’t seem real. The view from the restaurant is breathtaking, and every meal was a delight. Lucas and Bruno are not only incredible chefs, but also kind and beautiful souls with big hearts. I’m so grateful for the memories and can’t wait to return one day.
