The entire experience was enjoyable, from the host’s warm welcome to the mountain views over the rice paddies, the room, the food.
The rooms are spotlessly clean thoughtfully furnished and very comfortable. The coffee setup in the room was very impressive. The congee at breakfast (made with rice, meat and veg from the farm) was simple and refined. It might be the best pork meatball in soup I’ve had in Thailand. I would go back just for another bowl!

Situated in a beautiful surroundings , with running rivers , the houses are very pretty. However the interior design not well thought, there are many dust collectors on the shelves, no bedside table on one side, nowhere to put suite cases. The bath tab is just for decoration. There is not enough hot water . Some of the nets are torn. No mosquitoes door. We stay in some homestays so much cheaper than Chertan , and the facilities there can be compared to 5 stars. Unfortunately Chertan house doesn't fit to this category. Be aware the road to it very steep

Atmosphere: The farm radiates tranquility, with sprawling green fields, misty mountain views, and fresh air that instantly relaxes you. The rustic charm of wooden structures and vibrant flower gardens adds to its idyllic vibe—perfect for nature lovers and photographers! My favorite part of the day was enjoying the morning sun with a cup of coffee on the balcony, soaking in the warmth and serenity. Activities: Feeding the friendly goats was a highlight, but the adventure didn’t stop there! Jen, a wonderful staff member, kindly directed us to a scenic viewing point near a hiking trail, just a 2-hour walk from the farm. The trail offered breathtaking panoramas of the surrounding valleys—a hidden gem for explorers! We also took a one-hour motorbike ride to the Chiang Mai Blue Hot Spring, a stunning natural hot spring with crystal-clear blue waters. It was the perfect addition to our farm stay, offering relaxation and a unique experience. Food: The farm’s kitchen serves delicious farm-to-table dishes bursting with freshness. We devoured their hotpot, stir-fried vegetables, and fried rice—all brimming with natural flavors. It’s incredible how ingredients picked straight from the soil can taste so vibrant! Hospitality: The staff were warm, responsive, and genuinely passionate about sharing their sustainable lifestyle. Jen went above and beyond to make our stay seamless. She arranged a reasonably priced car pickup from Chiang Mai Old Town to the farm, easing our transportation worries. She also helped us arrange motorbike delivery to the farm, which made exploring the area so convenient. Her guidance and the team’s attentiveness made our visit unforgettable.

This place was a little gem! We don't read Thai but it wasn't too hard to find. You can park right in front of your room, which is a studio/bungalow-style. Shower pressure was surprisingly strong and hot - felt great if you're hiking around Doi Inthanon during the day. Bed was very comfy. Room had more amenities than we expected. It looked like you could order food although you may need to be able to read and speak Thai to do so. The neighbouring rooms had really nice hotpot sets in the evening. Alternatively you can walk to a nearby restaurant up the road which also served up a great variety of Thai dishes.

This was such a lovely little getaway in a village near to Doi Inthanon. The owner is very knowledgeable and passionate about birds and we had a great time watching some beautiful local birds from his hides which he took time to set up for us. The facilities are basic but fairly comfortable and breakfast (very tasty meat congee) is served on the decking. It feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, yet you can easily walk into the village to eat at many different restaurants, there is a convenience shop and also local crafts and coffee roasters where you can watch them work and buy local produce.

We can totally recommend staying at the Peppery Hills Hotel when visiting Chiang Mai. The reasons are: - The hotel is clean - The breakfast is decent - The hotel offers an airport shuttle and has several bikes which you can use - And the best: the service! The whole reception team - especially Tery (you are doing a great job!!)- is so kind and supportive. They help you to book tours and scooters and you can rely on their recommendations. Thank you again. We will come back.
Magnificent views, comfortable cabin room, good food available at the dining room, friendly host and staff
Comfortable huts in an Elephant Camp. Room was basic but had a comfortable bed and fridge / kettle. Nice views from the balcony. We really enjoyed the Elephant experiences and also the rafting. All the staff were great.
If you are a cat lover, you will love the fact that they have 11 cats. It is a cozy place, a bit outside of Mae Chaem, with a view of the mountain and a comfortable cabin.
The staff are the best and are extremely accommodating. It's a bit out of the city but there are free shuttles in every hour. Also you can use the free bikes. The food on offer was some of the best we had in Thailand! Real home style, was lovely
Staff couldn’t have been more helpful if they tried. gorgeous hotel, lovely breakfast, super clean and free airport shuttle which is super helpful.
