There is a private bathroom with bidet in all units, along with free toiletries and a hairdryer. The staff members were amazing. They were always supportive and helpful. Also the accommodation was wonderful as well as the view - both from our room and from the pool. We also liked all the food what we tried and the cocktails too.

Kindly note we do not provide AC in the rooms. Staying at riverside cottages was a really cool experience. The accommodation is right in the jungle so it’s good to keep in mind that you will be surrounded by wildlife and insects. This was something I was nervous about but when you just accept that it’s the jungle you really get the most out of it. The room was super comfortable, had everything we needed. The bed was comfy, mosquitoes nets were good quality, bathroom was perfect. The balcony’s are really cool because if you’re sitting on them you are in the jungle and can hear all the jungle noises. Yes there were geckos and insects in our room but it’s expected and you are protected by the net when you’re sleeping. There was no AC but we found it fine, we were here in May when there was a bit of rain so this might have helped but it was manageable. The restaurant is lovely on site, does everything you need. We went to the local town for dinner one night and there are lots of options available. You can get to the town by the free shuttle bus that runs every three hours or can ask for alternative times for a small charge. We did a night time canoe tour and the overnight lake stay through the hotel and they were brilliant. The overnight lake tour was more than we could have ever expected - this is a must do if you’re visiting. Recommend booking through the hotel to ensure you get a good experience. If you’re looking for a jungle experience this is definitely a great option!

At Monkey Mansion - Jungalows & Tours you will find a tour desk and an on-site shop. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including canoeing and hiking. Boat or wildlife tours can be arranged. The property offers free parking. This was definitely the best accomodation during our three week trip in Thailand. The location is amazing, as well as the environment and the view from our terrace. The staff was super friendly and helpful, our kids got lots of attention :) The food at the restaurant was delicious and inexpensive. They have even baked a delicious baby-friendly cake for our daughter's birthday! We have also particularly enjoyed a half day jungle hike from the tours we have purchased. Would definitely recommend Monkey mansion for our friends and fellow travelers.

Owners were nice. Bamboo bungalow gives a natural feeling and it's nice to have a small porch. Kettle and mini fridge in room. Bathroom was quite big. There are several beaches nearby

The owners are welcome and kind. They grow their fruits here. The room is comfortable and reasonable with the price. It's not far from the nice beaches, you can walk for 10-15 minutes however you might need a bike or motorbike to reach to the beaches comfortably.

Hmmm, where can I start? - Location: A bit far from "downtown", but you can always rent a motorbike, which they do rent them out for 250 baht/day, and drive around discovering the island. I think that's the best part! - The breakfast: Delicious and thoughtful. The host asked for the time you wanted to bf and served it every day at that exact time. I love the mango sticky rice and fresh fruits! - The room: Beautiful facilities, comfy big bed, spacious bathroom and AC available! How amazing! - The host: Friendly, helpful and very thoughtful. They also offer to pick you up and drop off at the Pier.

Krabi International Airport is 143 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Such a lovely place. I was worried that I was going to feel too removed from the main area of the island, but having explored it pretty extensively I felt this was EXACTLY the right place to stay on the island. The staff is so amazing and friendly and the food is good and the location is perfect. This is exactly where you should stay on Koh muk!
