But what truly made the stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. A huge thank you to Leslie, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. From arranging airport transfers to organizing tuk-tuk shuttles, she was constantly helpful, professional, and incredibly sweet. Her kindness really made me feel at home. I’d also love to give a special shoutout to Salim for helping me out when a few geckos made their way into the villa. He came over right away, was extremely helpful, and so kind throughout. I would absolutely stay here again—not just for the stunning villas, but because the people here genuinely care. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Paje!

I will always keep this place in my heart. 3 nights here released 2 years of stress on my shoulders. Serenity, astonishing views, jungles, animals, sunrises, sunsets, amazing food. The bungalow is spacious, spotlessly clean, brand new, where luxury meets rustic and bonds you with nature. Watching monkeys playing on baobab branches from the terrace of our bungalow was just mind-blowing. Mtende beach is like from sci-fi movies, just unbelievable, one of the most memorable and remarkable places I’ve visited on this planet. All this is possible thanks to the hospitality of Jeff and Suzi, who went above and beyond to provide the best experience of our stay in Zanzibar. We stayed on 6 beaches in Zanzibar, 9 accommodations, and this was the best place.

Excellent hotel with excellent location located in calm and safe location,extremely clean & comfortable . Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff ,he made my trip more interesting with his advices & tips about the city ,supermarket ,shops,restaurants bars are within walking distance. Would definetely recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you again for all stafffor going just that little step extra for the guests!!!

This was a lovely stay tucked away from the busy part of town. Would love to stay here again, and would reccomend to freinds and family.

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Demani Lodge Backpackers Zanzibar is located in Paje. WiFi access is available. You can enjoy garden view from the room. This is what you call tradition. The same chef for years and food mastered to perfection. Drinks are amazing. Super staff. We are always back in Demani anticipating every meal and precious relax time. This time we had bungalow with private bathroom on the back of the lodge. So many birds tweeting around- we loved it. The room is cozy, bed comfortable, bedsheets super fresh, bathroom spacious with amazing emerald colored walls. There is plenty of space to chill around the restaurant/bar/pool area. The pool has super clean water which i find very important! I cant wait to be back. For sure.

The location is amazing, the bed is more then comfortable, the outside are is so great to relax that I almost settled roots, and the stuff is so friendly and nice, that it feels like a little second family 😊

Fantastic accommodation for people looking to explore Jozani forest on a budget. The tent is very spacious and clean, and surrounded by wildlife. The shower area was very clean and hot water is available, plus basic toiletries. If you are used to camping it is a brilliant stay. Maryam and the hosts were incredibly helpful, with taxis, hot water for tea, extra towels etc. All the food was very tasty
