Muhammad and his team were, hands down, some of the loveliest people we've met on our travels, so welcoming and caring. Muhammad was available at all times. Even for our insanely late check-in. He advised on trips and prices, which was also a great help. Air-conditioning and mini fridges in the rooms were a great touch. And the beds were, by Tanzanian standards, very comfy. Thank you so very much for a wonderful time. We couldn't have been in better hands for our first stay of our Zanzibar trip!

The shared meals were such a nice addition after traveling and eating solo. The staff are so attentive and friendly. It’s clean and has everything you need, including amazing meals by the chef. It’s also literally right on the beach, the water comes up to the doorstep making swimming very convenient. I highly recommend!

Most rooms feature sea views and each unit is equipped with air-conditioning, a flat screen TV and a tea-and-coffee making facility. While some rooms are fitted with bath or an outdoor shower on the terrace or garden, all rooms have a private bathroom with extras such as a hairdryer and free toiletries. This was such a special property. It felt so boutique because of the fewer number of rooms. The food was so good. The drinks were good as well. Views were amazing. The staff was so wonderful. There was even entertainment each night.

Evergreen Bungalows offers beachfront accommodation in Bwejuu. The property has a private beach area and bike hire and car hire are available. Zanzibar City is 37 km away. Free WiFi is offered and free private parking is available on site. Evergreen Bungalows is the most beautiful place on earth. The upper floor beach front bungalows are like staying in a treehouse on the beach. The bed is huge and super comfortable. The balcony overlooking the beach has a daybed, table and a chair. You can walk straight on to the beach. Monkeys jump around in the trees directly outside the balcony. The food is amazing, and an incredible breakfast is included in the price. The beach, although wild and windy when we were there end July/beginning of August is stunning. Absolutely perfect!

Boasting an outdoor swimming pool and views of pool, Paje Emerald Escapes is a recently renovated chalet situated in Paje, 600 metres from Paje Beach. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. The chalet features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. I had such a fantastic experience staying at Paje Emerald Escapes! The villas are absolutely beautiful—peaceful, well-designed, and a true slice of paradise. But what truly made the stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. A huge thank you to Leslie, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. From arranging airport transfers to organizing tuk-tuk shuttles, she was constantly helpful, professional, and incredibly sweet. Her kindness really made me feel at home. I’d also love to give a special shoutout to Salim for helping me out when a few geckos made their way into the villa. He came over right away, was extremely helpful, and so kind throughout. I would absolutely stay here again—not just for the stunning villas, but because the people here genuinely care. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Paje!
