Perfect for longer stays friendly and professional staff, no power outages, and a clean, deep pool that’s filtered and cleaned every evening. Cozy lighting in the evenings adds to the vibe. Plus, the location is fantastic! Rooms were cleaned 2-3 times a day, sand was swept away, and beds were always freshly made. Drinking water, coffee, and tea were restocked daily. There’s a safe, a kettle, lots of storage, air conditioning, and mosquito nets. The bathroom is spacious with strong water pressure and always hot water. Plus, a hairdryer, soap, and shampoo. Tons of sun loungers by the pool and outdoor showers to rinse off or cool down. The garden is absolutely magical. The only downside is that the WiFi is slow inside the rooms, but the speed is great in the pool area and restaurant. Loved every moment of our stay felt like paradise!

The ocean views from the restaurant and seafront rooms kept us relaxed all week long. Staff are friendly and tend to your every request with a smile. Martin is also a fantastic manager and looked after us and our friends throughout our stay. We also loved the food - a wide variety of breakfast and lunch options and a lovely dinner menu each evening. The entertainment provided during dinner is also really good (much better than some of the other resorts we've stayed at in Zanzibar). A really awesome place to stay, highly recommended!

The upper floor beach front bungalows are like staying in a treehouse on the beach. The bed is huge and super comfortable. The balcony overlooking the beach has a daybed, table and a chair. You can walk straight on to the beach. Monkeys jump around in the trees directly outside the balcony. The food is amazing, and an incredible breakfast is included in the price. The beach, although wild and windy when we were there end July/beginning of August is stunning. Absolutely perfect!

The place is very nice, with big, comfortable rooms. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I loved having the animals around. The location is great too, just a short walk to the beach and main road. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend for anyone visiting the area

Boasting an outdoor swimming pool and views of pool, Paje Emerald Escapes is a recently renovated chalet situated in Paje, 600 metres from Paje Beach. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. The chalet features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. I had such a fantastic experience staying at Paje Emerald Escapes! The villas are absolutely beautiful—peaceful, well-designed, and a true slice of paradise. But what truly made the stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. A huge thank you to Leslie, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. From arranging airport transfers to organizing tuk-tuk shuttles, she was constantly helpful, professional, and incredibly sweet. Her kindness really made me feel at home. I’d also love to give a special shoutout to Salim for helping me out when a few geckos made their way into the villa. He came over right away, was extremely helpful, and so kind throughout. I would absolutely stay here again—not just for the stunning villas, but because the people here genuinely care. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Paje!
