Black Bear Lodge is situated in South Lake Tahoe, roughly 0.8 km from the lake and 1.6 km from The Gondola at Heavenly. All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV and a gas fireplace. the room is so clean, they put 2 piece of welcome chocolate on the bed which was so delicious. I can feel they care about the customer so much. The lobby is so cozy for couple to have a drink. Last but not least, the location of the lodge was totally perfect, we can walk to the lake round 6 mins. I will be back soon absolutely.

The atmosphere in the house was very comfortable and cozy, everything was thought out to the smallest detail to make your holiday perfect. This property is cozy and adorable. It is perfect for both families and couples and gives the perfect amount of nostalgia for the Tahoe I remember as a kid. The family that operates this property is so helpful and kind and makes the whole experience feel like you are visiting friends. My kids loved the s’mores around the fire pit at night, playing cornhole with new friend, the vintage games inside the lobby, and the free flowing hot chocolate. My sister and I enjoyed the bikes available to take out the bike trail to Tallac House right outside the door and the thoughtful and unique touches to the decorations in each room. We love Fireside and can’t wait to come back next summer.

Overlooking Lake Tahoe's north shore, Hyatt Vacation Club at High Sierra Lodge offers accommodation in Incline Village. A last minute booking due to another property not being available as promised when we arrived. Worked out really well though as this place was lovely. Ideal for a family of four (2nd bedroom had 2 queens), the facilities were great. Lovely setting in the woods and there is a pool, and a club house with pool table. The kitchen has all you need to do some home cooking and it's very safe and quiet. We had a power cut (not Hyatt's fault, it was much of Incline Village) but the staff were great and made sure we all had torches and they put glow sticks on all the paths.
