It was a spur of the moment take off and stay somewhere for a night for my wife’s birthday. The owners were very nice and left a birthday card and a bottle of wine. The cabin was clean and cozy. What a lovely stay we had at The Lodge! The facility is really nice and the service is absolutely spot on. The staff welcomed us on arrival and gave us all the info we needed. The room was sparkling clean and very spacious with a fully equipped kitchen. The lovely message we found in the room and the one the staff left us before leaving was nothing short of a pleasant surprise. I found the beds to be very comfortable allowing for a great night sleep and overall the entire area was really quiet. There is also free breakfast for everyone and the only nit is that there were not many options available for vegans but there was plenty of food. This is definitely a place I would gladly come back to if I'll visit the area again in the future. 100% recommended!

Everything was clean, the kitchen had what I needed, loved the outdoor seating in the front and side. Places to eat or grab coffee are just minutes away. Bryson City is just 15 to 20 minutes away. There's also a lovely farm, and a winery 25 minutes away. Great communication from the host. Exactly the peaceful getaway I needed to reset and recharge.
