There is a private bathroom with shower in every unit, along with free toiletries, a hairdryer and slippers. So and her family made this an unforgettable experience. It was by far our favourite part of Vietnam. So was so attentive, genuine, and open to sharing her Black Hmong culture. We went on a beautiful trek with her two sons one day and took pictures as her kids hopped on the water buffalo. Another day So took us to the home of a Red Dao family and we learned about many of their ways of self-sufficiency. So and her sister are also wonderful cooks! Every meal we shared together was the best food we had in Vietnam. On our last day, we shared lunch with just So's family and it really made us feel at home, especially with copious amounts of happy water. Our room had an amazing view of the mountains and rice-paddies. It was like paradise! We learned how extraordinary and resilient the people here are and the essential life skills that have been lost throughout our consumerist world. We will definitely come back and stay with So--going back has constantly been on my mind since I left Hmong Eco Villa. Sidenote and PSA: Don't forget to tip your trekking guide~

With mountain views, D&D Eco Sapa is situated in Sa Pa and has a restaurant, room service, snack bar, garden, seasonal outdoor pool and terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. Perfectly located slightly away from the commercial Sapa city. The host Duc is a gem, kind and so helpful and his thoughtfully made place is very comfortable. The food here is excellent. His father and the dogs are so friendly and cute. Would recommend this place 10/10!

The host are so friendly and kind. The room is comfortable and has everything you need. You can really have a taste of local and traditional food, it’s great, diverse and cooked by the family. They invited us to share dinner with family in their house. Gioi offers a tour in the area and you should definitely do it! You go through small villages, rice fields and beautiful landscapes. We totally loved our authentic experience here!
