The rooms at Riverside are equipped with a flat-screen satellite TV, wooden floors and private bathroom. The wooden cottages have a separate dining room, a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. As we went out for dinner, the location of the Lodge was very central, so we could just walk to the best local restaurant. The service of the host was very informative and helpful. Made the next day travel a highlight. A complementary carwash came to us just at the right time. Thank you.

Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. The property was fantastic and great for a ‘get away from it all ‘ break. Very quiet. Room , pool , food all great as was the host William. Highly recommended.

So much wild life. Great swimming pool. Simply LOVELY staff (shout out to Allice, Alfred and JJ). Brilliant early morning Meerkat safari. We had a blast. Highly recommend Africamps Kelin Karoo.

The staff is extremely knowledgeable and accommodating, making the experience even more special. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to immerse themselves in South Africa's wilderness.

From the moment we arrived, Richard went above and beyond to make our visit truly special. He was incredibly communicative leading up to our stay and took extra care to arrange thoughtful gifts for a special birthday celebration, which was such a delightful surprise. The lodge itself was charming, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. Every detail of our stay exceeded our expectations, and it’s clear that Richard genuinely cares about his guests’ experience. We couldn’t recommend Duckpond Lodge more and will definitely be returning!
