Our daughter loved the breakfast… especially the fresh baked carrot cake and the muffins. The teams helped us booking all our trips and gave us good tips that helped a lot. We will come back.

What made my stay unforgettable was the warm smiles and genuine hospitality of exceptionally friendly staff - Deline, Angel and Armstrong. For accommodation in Oribi Gorge, this is a perfect place.

The luxury tent also features outdoor fireplace and a picnic area for a day out in the open. The property was amazing, what you would expect for a "glamping" experience. We had our privacy as the rooms aren't in close proximity to each other. Amazing waking up in the morning and the wildlife passes by your room.

Pietermaritzburg Airport is 203 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. All was good, food, location and game drives were excellent. Staff was helpful. Will return. Exceptional value!

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Absolutely everything! The staff were incredible and felt like family. Nothing was too much trouble - they even baked a little cake and sang happy birthday to my dad. The food was exceptional, and the service, top notch. Our daily game drives were mesmerising, made all the more enjoyable by the fabulous Theo! When does he sleep ? That's what I want to know. Anytime you need anything, Theo is there. He is kind, funny, and has a wealth of knowledge on all species, flora, and fauna. You can not go wrong with a trip to Zulu Rock Lodge - 5 star treatment all the way. Man, what an experience!

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Highbourne Cottages is a recently renovated chalet situated in Winterton, 10 km from Monks Cowl Country Club. The chalet, set in a building dating from 1940, is 34 km from Winterton Museum and 50 km from Spioenkop Nature Reserve. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. We stayed at Protea Cottage, which is well-equipped and comfortable. It's located at the end of the R600, near the entrance to Monk's Cowl area of the Drakensberg. You can access many nice trails directly from the cottage. The view from the porch is glorious, especially at sunset. Cathkin Park is a great location, and we easily filled our 6 days there. We went ziplining, hiking, swimming in the streams, horseback riding at uShaka, and saw the Falcon Ridge Bird of Prey show. We unfortunately missed whitewater rafting and the Boys Choir show. Leslie communicated thoroughly ahead of time about check-in and other details so there were no surprises. We also loved that it was off the grid, but with the solar panels, who noticed? The kitchen had all the necessary items, including a camp toaster and a French press for coffee. Lindsey and Brett don't live on site, but they stopped by a couple of times, and they were friendly and helpful. Their caretakers were there daily and kept everything in good order.
