We could only stay one night but he recommended two super tours for us, restaurants etc. Lovely little town. Even got to see the hippos roaming at night. Well worth a visit.

Everyone we met was friendly and eager to make our 2 nights memorable. The room was incredible and is among the nicest I’ve had while in Africa. It’s right up there with the top lodges in game reserves. They had no issue bringing you down to the parking area anytime we wanted to leave and they were always available to pick you up upon returning. The pool and bar area were great to relax around in the afternoons and the quaint living and dining room was comfortable to spend time in during the evenings before dinner.

The Guides provide personalised care. I wanted to see Cats and David, our Guide made that happen. The resort management catered for my dietary requirements and were able to provide accommodation close to each other for our group. Good directions. From start to end, everything was organised professionally and to a very high standard.

The staff is the friendliest lot. The facilities are exceptionally clean. There's a porter that transports your bags and fetches you from your room in the evenings.

A 19 km de Barragem Midmar, AfriCamps at Gowan Valley apresenta acomodações com banheira de hidromassagem em Balgowan. Everything that you need for a perfect weekend getaway. The tent is more spacious than expected, with a well equipped kitchen and two sizeable rooms. The unit was immaculately clean, with fresh linens, towels and extra blankets provided. The wood fired hot tub was a fun experience! Located on the lovely Gowan Valley Guest Farm, a gorgeous property where you can enjoy spectacular river views and forest greenery (the short Forest Walk through the property should not be missed!).

Silverstreams Lodge, Villas & Cottages, Oribi Gorge situa-se em Glendale, na região de KwaZulu-Natal, e dispõe de acomodações com estacionamento privado gratuito. The Lodge is a beautiful hidden gem. It is a self catering unit and well equipped. The housekeeping staff were respectful and ensured our space was well cleaned. Special thanks to Diana for her impeccable service, quick responses to our queries and overall attention to detail. Fresh towels were provided on a daily basis. The bedding was neat and super cosy. Toiletries were also provided - shampoo/conditioner/soap. A dishwasher is installed in the kitchen which came in handy with a large family! The Lodge was an absolute gem and ideal for a family break. I had the privilege to celebrate my birthday with my family after 6 years and the location was perfect. Definitely a vacation that will forever remain close to my heart. ♥️
