The unit was immaculately clean, with fresh linens, towels and extra blankets provided. The wood fired hot tub was a fun experience! Located on the lovely Gowan Valley Guest Farm, a gorgeous property where you can enjoy spectacular river views and forest greenery (the short Forest Walk through the property should not be missed!).

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. We loved this lucky find - River Bend Farm was just gorgeous- the endless views of hills, trees and river are stunning. The accommodation is super comfortable and the shower was bliss! Jenny and Earl were so welcoming, friendly and really passionate about this beautiful area! The whole place truly just had everything one would need for a comfortable stay ; blankets, board games,books, n Weber braai, a lovely dining room table setup, Such a nicely organised kitchen and such kind staff. We loved everything about the place.

Comfortable and great location. The host communicated well and was very accommodating when we had a special request.

A barbecue is available for guests to use at the lodge. Host CJ is friendly and gladly shares his vast knowledge of his property's fascinating history. The view of Sounds in Silence is gorgeous and the aura peaceful. The bedroom we stayed in was tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. The private bathroom is spacious and spotless. My daughter and I loved our short stay, as did our spaniel.

This was an amazing place that overlooks the Midlands meander, making it perfect for an RnR experience and river below was an added bonus because I got to take a dip in a little private setting .Judy was an excellent host to us .The friendly dogs also played their part for hosting us .Definitely will be returning !!!
