The lodge really exceeded all our expectations! We had a great stay. It has breathtaking views from executive room. The rooms have excellent design, comfortable and clean. The hosts are nice. This lodge is a must-visit on a trip to Kruger park or back just for relaxing. I very rarely rate hotels as 10, but this is one of the few.

I loved that the place was inside a beautiful gated wildlife preserve. I felt very safe and secure there. A delightful bonus was seeing giraffe feeding on the trees so close to the walking path just steps from the guest house door! I also saw a warthog and some impala very nearby the place as well. It was a lovely experience staying here! I loved sitting on the porch watching the sunset and hearing the birds singing in the mornings! The hosts Zelda and George were very kind and made sure I found the place alright. They were also very responsive to my questions and concerns.

They've done everything by themselves and I would immediately hire them as my interior architects :-) - Wonderful garden with great views of the Drakensberg mountains. Bushbabies might even stop by for a visit in the evening! - Possibility to do Safaris right around the corner (Ruan is also a trained guide) - Place to go for wine lovers, Ruan is also a professional in the wine field! - Breakfast is freshly prepared and delicious! We loved the fresh fruits and Musli as well as the delicious Omelettes. Also they prepared dinner just for the two of us and it was a very nice and romantic dinner!

The whole hotel is immaculately designed, combining luxury with an authentic African touch. Every detail—from the decor to the comfort of the bed — shows how much care and passion goes into this place. The meals were absolutely outstanding: fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor like in a restaurant. Our host, Alet’s attentiveness and natural kindness added a truly special touch to our stay. Her discreet yet exceptionally thoughtful care made every moment feel effortless and comfortable.

Wonderful host, everything was as promised and more. Great location, secure and close to shops etc. Clean and everything you could wish for. We will make plans to stay here again for sure.
