Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. Just perfect! Just out in the bush everything was clean and comfortable. The most friendly staff and a good kitchen. Great hiking possibilities as well to enjoy nature. They are building a new restaurant and will turn parts of the old restaurant/bar into rooms. Just hope they keep some parts of the current restaurant for a drink since it has the most beautiful views!

Located in the village of Stormsrivier in Tsitsikamma, this bed and breakfast offers traditionally decorated rooms with a balcony. We loved the friendly staff , the location of the accomodation was also great, very safe and lots of restaurants in walking distance.

The definition of cabin in the middle of nowhere in the best sense. It is a rustic cabin, the bathroom is an outdoor one so has its own entrance through the back of the cabin. We had a lovely, private stay with the most beautiful sunsets . Our host Caroline was very nice and helpful. There's a little path you can take through the garden that leads into the forest, and it's magical. You must bring your own supply as the nearest shop is about 20 minutes drive away but it's worth it and you can braai in the fire pit outside. Perfect stay if you're looking to be off the grid but still be close to the Tsisikamma park.

The hosts were incredibly nice and funny. They recommended us some activities along our tour. The room was spacious and well equipped. Everything was very clean and the garden is lovely.
