Portezuelo del Viento was a perfect hostel to stay at after the base camp trek to Aconcagua. The staff are super friendly and made us feel at home from the start. I would recommend staying for as long as you can on your trip, as there are lots of treks to do around the hostel, which the staff which gladly help you plan. Amazing location at the top of the Andes, spectacular views, historic building with lots of charm, very friendly and helpful staff. The accommodation was clean, quiet and comfortable. Drinks and dinner were available and breakfast provided. The staff made a special effort to store our bicycles. Overall a great and memorable experience. Highly recommend.

Intersting place! Kept all promises. Location perfect: Close to Aconcagua national park and other interesting places to see. If you need practical place to overnight, not looking for anything fancy this is it.

The lady that runs this hostel is lovely and she really went out of her way to make you feel at home. The food in the evening was a good price and it was beautiful. I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. Thank you.
