Location is perfect if you move by car and have main activities in Sigulda, around 20 minutes from there to the cottage thats near tiny but really nice river. Cottage is really cozy and warm even when outside was around -23c celsius. Owner was really kind and showed us around. Sauna was warm and there was plenty of firewood to keep sauna + fireplace active whole stay. Would be nice to visit the place also in summer as place offers really nice stay next to the river including fireplace and barbeque but was really nice even at winter. Basically you could go there empty handed and this spot has everything you need for a great stay. Thank you, hope cottages like yours will have fair amount of great customers! 10+

Staying in the middle of the forest allowed me to completely disconnect and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The property was well-maintained, clean, and comfortable, creating a cozy retreat. The little chalet with a view of deer park is magnificent. We were greeted by the host, the house was warm (we had to keep it warm by adding logs to the little Finnish stove, but it was fun). The terrace is the place to be, even in winter, because it offers a view of the little pond and the grounds, with the deer going about their life. Enchanted!

Amazing place, the small highway that is very close is quiet, doesn’t disturb at all, few cars per day only. The house is clean and well cared. All necessary things are there apart from the very small fridge, we had our portable fridge with us and it helped a lot. Also would be nice to have more storage space for personal belongings. But overall the service is very good. Towels, toilet papers, clean bed sheets, warm/cold clean water etc. A house is cosy and warm. I do recommend this place.
